Nonstop Kansas City Service Returns to Columbus, effective May 4th
Midwest Airlines is adding nonstop service between Columbus and Kansas City. Midwest operates a hub at Kansas City and convenient, well-timed connections to the west coast are available. Note that Midwest also offers nonstop daily flights from Port Columbus to Milwaukee. For more details, read Midwest’s press release.

More Airlines Adding Flights:
Southwest added daily frequencies to three existing Columbus markets. With the additional service Southwest now has five daily flights to Baltimore, seven to Chicago-Midway and three to Tampa. Southwest offers a total of 25 daily departures from CMH to Las Vegas, Nashville, Orlando, Phoenix and St. Louis.

In April American will begin daily service to New York-JFK, augmenting its existing New York service of six daily flights into New York-LaGuardia. The airline will move to providing two daily flights into JFK in July.

USA3000 resumed nonstop service to Cancun with a seasonal weekly nonstop service from Port Columbus. Flights depart on Saturdays at 3:40 p.m. and are available through April.

Direct Air resumes nonstop service to Myrtle Beach on May 26th. The twice weekly flights depart from Rickenbacker International Airport on Wednesdays and Saturdays. A second Saturday flight will be added on June 19th.

Art at the Airport:
Take time to view the new art exhibit featuring the Columbus paintings of Curtis Goldstein in the Port Columbus Gateway to the Arts gallery.  The gallery is located on the ticketing level, between Cup O’Joe and Max & Erma’s.
